The Neighborhood Center: Evening Teen Program

Last date was Friday, December 7th, 2018 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm (ET)

About

The Neighborhood Center is non-profit in Allentown that serves as a safe haven for local youth to come and play, learn, and grow. The center greatly focuses on community relationships, education, leadership, positive choices, and fun.
We will be volunteering with local teens during the center's evening teen program on Fridays from 5:30-7:30pm.
We will be exploring the theme of identity and recognizing our strengths when addressing our identities.
To explore identity, we will be doing numerous engaging activities such as journal writing, art, debates, and other collaborative projects.
Volunteers should serve as mentors for these students-encouraging the teens to participate in the activities.
I will provide transportation if you need a way of getting there, just let me know ahead of time. If you have your own transportation, there is a parking lot next to the center, but space is limited.

There will be no program on 11/2 and 11/23.
This program will end on 12/7.
